Fight Back Against Parkinson’s!

During this fun hands-on program, you will improve your quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A BOXER TO PARTICIPATE! Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by working on agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, balance, hand-eye coordination, footwork and over-all strength. Through the generous support of MAPS (Maryland Association for Parkinson Support), this class is offered at NO COST to anyone diagnosed with a Parkinsonian disorder. All levels are encouraged to join. Fitness evaluation is required prior to participation.

This event is open to the community and all proceeds go to the Maryland Association for Parkinson’s Support, Inc. (MAPS).  Maps sponsors the Myerberg’s Rock Steady Boxing classes, provided at no cost for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
